Sore

Still sore. Time to dust off the hybrid bike. Rode 17 plus miles in 1 hour 20. Shins don't hurt but my butt does. Got passed by several pelotons that roam the Woodlands on weekends. They might have been wondering what I was doing. It's hard to get any kind of speed on my bike. 13.1 mph average with 23 mph as the fastest. Garmin tells me I burnt 1158 calories. Not bad.

I was jealous of runners I encountered.

It's funny how cycling and stuff has all this great technology out, yet comfy seats appear hard to come by (or at least that is from my limited experience)!

Sounds like you were riding my - as Bill puts it - "neighborhood cruiser" bike.

Hey Katy, great seeing you on Saturday, great run, congrats! Cycling can be easy, or quite difficult, depending how high you "turn up the wick"...Holden, I'll be looking forward to the next RTW race!
