RTW 5K

First run since the marathon. A beautiful running weather. As usual, I employed the "Go out as fast as possible and just hang on 'cause this cannot last more than 30 minutes so long as you don't puke" strategy. Everything went quite well except for the chest area which felt like it was going to explode near mile 3.

Mile 1: 7:39
Mile 2: 8:29
Mile 3: 8:30
0.1: 0:48

Time: 25 min 28 secs
Pace: 8:13 min/miles
Shoes: Asics Kayano XIII (178.92)
Weight: 174 lbs.
Calories burned: 395.7 kcal (932.2 kcal/hr)
Temp: Cloudy and 41 (long sleeves and gloves)

Shout out to Dr. Rick Cook (PhD in Hundred Mileaology), Dave Smart, Karen Felicidario, Jon Walk, Bill Dwyer and Rich Cooper. Nice to see y'all.

Wow Holden!!! That is awesome!

It was 45 where we ran this morning (the Y by my house). I wore long sleeves and gloves, but I also wore shorts to keep my bottom covered.
