Out with the old, in with the new. My perennial favorite running food, Clif Bar is out of favor with me. Perhaps I ate too many. I get queasy eating one now. My new favorite running food: Fig Newtons! They are easily wrapped in saran wrap and so comes with me during long runs. For the Seabrook marathon, I ate a bunch of Figs as I drove down to the race.
Weight: Despite good hydration during the race, I lost 5 lbs. That probably explains why my heart was racing a little during the last loop.
